The Master’s degree in UX Design (UX) at ESUV is a qualification registered with the RNCP at Level 7, designed to train hybrid experts over a two-year period who are capable of evolving from operational designers into user experience strategists, with a strong emphasis on leadership, strategic vision, and the management of complex projects.

This programme is perfectly aligned with the needs of managers within specialised technology organisations who are seeking creative, passionate, curious, and motivated professionals.

Prerequisites

ENTRY LEVEL(S)

Bachelor’s degree / Licence and Bac+4

Prerequisites: The Master’s degree in UX Design (UX) at ESUV is open to holders of a Bachelor’s degree / Licence or any other Level 6 qualification and, for entry into the second year of the Master’s programme, to candidates who have validated a Master 1 or have obtained a waiver from the certifying body.

Admission is based on the review of the application file and may include an interview.

This programme does not offer any equivalences or transfer pathways.

Programme objectives

The Master’s degree in UX Design (UX) at ESUV is a state-recognised Level 7 qualification aimed at achieving the following objectives:

  • Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability audits
  • Understand cognitive mechanisms in order to design intuitive user journeys
  • Align user needs with the company’s business objectives
  • Create complex interactive prototypes to test concepts prior to development
  • Learn to design and maintain a reusable component library to ensure large-scale visual consistency
  • Work on micro-interactions, animations, and interface state feedback to enhance user engagement
  • Learn to lead designers, provide constructive feedback, and manage external service providers
  • Integrate into a development cycle and collaborate closely with developers and Product Managers
  • Facilitate co-design workshops with stakeholders (clients, marketing teams, engineers)
  • Explore UX for virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), voice user interfaces (VUI), and artificial intelligence

Further Studies

This Master’s degree is professionally oriented and therefore leads directly to employment.

Admission Procedures and Deadlines

Access deadlines

  • Applications for the September 2026 intake are open from 1 March to 20 September 2026.
  • Applications for the deferred January 2027 intake remain open until 18 December 2026.

Modalities

Access to our programmes may be initiated:

  • By the employer,
  • At the employee’s initiative, with their employer’s agreement,
  • By a student or their legal guardian
  • Work-study is available from the third year onwards

Upon completion of the application form, our institution undertakes to respond within 72 hours.

If the programme requires specific prerequisites, we will propose, regardless of the funding method you are considering, a knowledge assessment and/or a positioning interview (by telephone or videoconference) and/or a review of your application file.

Duration

DURATION OF STUDIES:

  • 2 years for students holding a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, and 1 year for students who have completed the first year of a Master’s programme.
  • Work-study programme available.

Validation of skills blocks:

  • Block 2: Design a digital project following a UX Design approach adapted to AI
  • Block 3: Manage a digital project using agile methodology, and develop its functional specifications and technical requirements
  • Block 4: Develop an e-marketing and communication strategy for a digital entrepreneurship project using AI
  • Block 5: Conduct studies and write reports in competitive intelligence and corporate strategy
