The Master’s degree in Strategic Management and Competitive Intelligence (SIE) at ESUV is a qualification registered with the RNCP at Level 7, designed to train managers over a two-year period who are capable of transforming information into a strategic asset in order to anticipate market changes, influence their environment, and gain market share.

This programme is perfectly aligned with the needs of managers involved in commercial operations management, who are seeking creative, passionate, curious, and motivated professionals.

Prerequisites

REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL(S)

Bachelor’s degree / Licence and Bac+4

Prerequisites: The Master’s degree in Strategic Management and Competitive Intelligence (SIE) at ESUV is open to holders of a Licence/Bachelor’s degree or any other Level 6 qualification. Admission to the second year of the Master’s programme is available to candidates who have validated a Master 1 or have obtained a waiver from the certifying body.

 

Admission is based on application review and, where applicable, an interview.

This programme does not offer any equivalences or transfer pathways.

The Master’s degree in Strategic Management and Competitive Intelligence (SIE) at ESUV is a state-recognised Level 7 qualification aimed at achieving the following objectives:

 

  • Master automated monitoring tools and advanced search techniques
  • Transform large volumes of raw data into strategic synthesis reports to support managerial decision-making
  • Identify disruptive technological innovations before they reach the market
  • Learn how to promote an organisation’s interests to public decision-makers and opinion leaders
  • Understand geopolitical power relations and navigate national and international networks of influence
  • Manage brand image online and respond to information-based attacks
  • Implement protocols to prevent data leaks, industrial espionage, and intellectual property theft
  • Understand digital risks in order to raise team awareness and secure the exchange of sensitive information
  • Learn how to assess the reliability of future partners or suppliers prior to mergers, acquisitions, or strategic alliances
  • Reduce uncertainty when entering new markets or launching new products
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of competitors’ strengths and weaknesses in order to build a sustainable competitive advantage

Admission Procedures and Deadlines

Access deadlines

  • Applications for the September 2026 intake are open from 1 March to 20 September 2026.
  • Applications for the deferred January 2027 intake remain open until 18 December 2026.

Modalities

Access to our programmes may be initiated:

  • By the employer,
  • At the employee’s initiative, with their employer’s agreement,
  • By a student or their legal guardian
  • Work-study is available from the third year onwards

Upon completion of the application form, our institution undertakes to respond within 72 hours.

If the programme requires specific prerequisites, we will propose, regardless of the funding method you are considering, a knowledge assessment and/or a positioning interview (by telephone or videoconference) and/or a review of your application file.

Duration

DURATION OF STUDIES:

  • 2 years for students holding a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, and 1 year for students who have completed the first year of a Master’s programme.
  • Work-study programme available.

Validation of skills blocks:

  • Block 1: Create and develop a digital entrepreneurship project using AI
  • Block 2: Design a digital project following a UX Design approach adapted to AI
  • Block 3: Manage a digital project using agile methodology, and develop its functional specifications and technical requirements
  • Block 4: Develop an e-marketing and communication strategy for a digital entrepreneurship project using AI
  • Block 5: Conduct studies and write reports in competitive intelligence and corporate strategy
