Presentation

The Master’s in Brand Creation and Product Identity (MIP) at ESUV is a qualification registered with the RNCP at Level 7, delivered over two years at the intersection of design, marketing, and management. It trains senior executives and strategic managers capable of transforming an abstract concept into a strong, coherent, and desirable brand.

This programme is perfectly aligned with the needs of Managers responsible for brand or product management, who are seeking creative, passionate, curious, and motivated collaborators.

The ESUV Master’s MIP enables students to become highly operational from their first professional experience. The programme includes courses, conferences, masterclasses, and Business Games delivered by professionals who are experts in their respective fields.

Prerequisites

ENTRY LEVEL(S)

Bachelor’s degree / Licence and Bac+4

Prerequisites: The Master’s in Brand Creation and Product Identity at ESUV is open to holders of a Bachelor’s degree / Licence or any other Level 6 qualification and, for entry into the second year of the Master’s programme, to candidates who have validated a Master 1 or have obtained a waiver from the certifying body.

Admission is based on the review of the application file and may include an interview.

This programme does not offer any equivalences or transfer pathways.

Programme objectives

The Master’s in Brand Creation and Product Identity (MIP) at ESUV is a state-recognised Level 7 qualification designed to achieve the following objectives:

  • Learn how to shape the unique “position” a brand should occupy in consumers’ minds relative to competitors.

  • Define the brand’s mission, vision, values, and promise.

  • Learn to craft a compelling story that creates an emotional connection with the audience.

  • Prepare a graphic charter, including logo design, typography choices, and colour palettes.

  • Design packaging not only as protection but also as a communication and usability tool.

  • Propose sensory product designs, including sound, scent, or tactile elements.

  • Learn to use user-centred innovation methods to solve complex problems.

  • Ensure that product features reflect the brand’s promises (for example, an “eco-friendly” brand must have a durable and recyclable product).

  • Know how to brief and supervise creative professionals (graphic designers, photographers, copywriters).

  • Anticipate market trends and societal behaviour changes to keep the brand relevant.

  • Understand the fundamentals of intellectual property to protect creative work.

Admission Procedures and Deadlines

Access deadlines

  • Applications for the September 2026 intake are open from 1 March to 20 September 2026.
  • Applications for the deferred January 2027 intake remain open until 18 December 2026.

Modalities

Access to our programmes may be initiated:

  • By the employer,
  • At the employee’s initiative, with their employer’s agreement,
  • By a student or their legal guardian
  • Work-study is available from the third year onwards

Upon completion of the application form, our institution undertakes to respond within 72 hours.

If the programme requires specific prerequisites, we will propose, regardless of the funding method you are considering, a knowledge assessment and/or a positioning interview (by telephone or videoconference) and/or a review of your application file.

Duration

DURATION OF STUDIES:

  • 2 years for students holding a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, and 1 year for students who have completed the first year of a Master’s programme.
  • Work-study programme available.

Validation of skills blocks:

  • Block 1: Create and develop a digital entrepreneurship project with the support of AI

  • Block 2: Design a digital project following a UX Design approach while adapting to AI

  • Block 3: Lead a digital project using agile methodology, developing its functional specifications and technical requirements

  • Block 4: Develop an e-marketing and communication strategy for a digital entrepreneurship project with the support of AI

  • Block 5: Conduct studies and write reports in competitive intelligence and corporate strategy
